Mocking Women For Their Looks & Sex Lives Is Never Okay

In unsurprising news, the 'Kyle and Jackie O' show were problematic this week (shocking!).

But in all honesty they stooped to a whole new low in sexism and misogyny.

During an interview with Married At First Sight contestants Ella Ding and Domenica Calarco, Kyle Sandilands asked if they had seen, "Olivia jerking off a mushroom dick?"

He then surprised his guests with a sexually explicit video of Olivia Frazer and Jackson Lonie from Married At First Sight.

This video was allegedly taken from the couple's OnlyFans’ accounts.

Despite the video being behind a paywall, Kyle claims he did not pay for it and that it was sent in.

This stunt orchestrated by Kyle and the producers at KIIS 1065 was disgusting and incredibly inappropriate.

Not to mention, I assume sharing a video that’s behind a paywall would definitely have legal ramifications.

And of course, the sexism and misogyny continues on the Kyle and Jackie O show.

Earlier this week, the show’s producer Bruno spoke about the women at 'Shameless' and 'Outspoken.'

Kyle and Jackie O laughed along as Bruno mocked the podcasters and their highly successful shows.

He said he could appear on the Shameless podcast if he "played the mental health card."

Jackie O then suggested he could say he forgot to "take his tablets."

Bruno then continued his misogynist speech by mocking the Outspoken podcast.

Not only did he make fun of their podcast slogan but also the hosts’ looks.

"I’m sorry to the hot girls at Shameless and the ugly girls from Outspoken," he said, "better watch yourselves because when the big dog comes barking."

So why exactly is a grown man mocking this group of highly successful women?

Because the team at Outspoken made a chocolate hierarchy list, and somehow this man-baby thought they stole his idea for food hierarchy lists (despite the fact these novelty lists have existed on the internet for years).

So why was Shameless involved?

Because apparently he mistook Outspoken for Shameless, and he thought objectifying and ridiculing the highly successful female led podcasts would be the perfect way to ‘apologise’ for his mistake.

Honestly, how does a show like ‘Kyle and Jackie O’ still exist?

Rumour Has It We May Be Getting A Drag Version Of Big Brother On Netflix

Our beloved queen of drag, RuPaul, is allegedly partnering up with Netflix for a new TV series.

According to the RuPaul's Drag Race Family fan page, sources say a Drag Race version of Big Brother is set to be released on the popular streaming platform.

The series is said to be Netflix's first live show where fans can "watch the contestants 24/7, seven days a week with multi camera functionality."

It's also rumoured to be called RUPAUL'S BIG MOTHER and shall feature contestants from the Drag Race franchise.

"According to sources in the know a four week long drag version of the hit reality show BIG BROTHER is allegedly coming to the streaming channel fronted by none other than Rupaul herself," as stated on the fan page, "RUPAUL'S BIG MOTHER could see ten franchise favourite queens holed up together in a luxury house with 70 Cameras, 120 microphones and a whole host of dragtacular challenges."

Ten queens from RuPaul's Drag Race have already been linked to show including "Adore Delano, Ginger Minj, Kennedy Davenport, Alyssa Edwards, Katya, Manila Luzon, Thorgy Thor, Tammie Brown, Willam Belli and Heidi N Closet."

It's rumoured the cast will be competing for $150,000 and have to partake in weekly challenges including "makeovers, assault courses, endurance tests and lip syncing."

None of the queens have yet to comment on the rumoured series.

And Netflix have yet to release any statements relating to the show.

If all the rumours are true, we most certainly will be tuning in to this show!

I guess RuPaul was serious when she said she wanted to take over the world with drag - and honestly no complaints here!

Neighbours Casts First Non-Binary Character

Actor, model and content creator Kathleen Ebbs is making history - they're set to play the first non-binary character on the television series, Neighbours.

Kathleen will be appearing on our screens on May 10 as the character Asher Nesmith.

"Neighbours has been at the forefront of queer storytelling on TV, not only celebrating us but normalising our existence," says Kathleen, "this has been an important move for the rest of the television landscape in taking us seriously not only as artists but as people."

Despite this exciting news, Neighbours is still expected to cease production in June.

The long-running series was unable to seek out an alternative broadcast partner and funding.

Kathleen says they're disappointed the government didn't step in.

"This government not only doesn't prioritise the arts but we have seen doesn't even care about the lives of queer people on an everyday level," says Kathleen, "of course they didn't step in to help the longest running TV show in this country - one that not only provides so many jobs, and is such an important institution for young actors, creators, writers, etc; but puts queer storylines and representation at the forefront."
